Daniel Hardman returns, bringing a sexual harassment lawsuit against Pearson Hardman on behalf of a former employee. Harvey and Jessica are tactically limited because of a non-disclosure agreement that Jessica signed when Hardman left. Mike attempts to convince the former employee to settle so that the firm can focus on the Folsom Foods litigation.

Daniel Hardman is back, and he’s up to his old tricks: though ostensibly the new opposing council on the Folsom Foods class action suit, he’s piling on with a wrongful termination lawsuit from Monica Eton – the very same suit Mike had tried to get Monica to bring against the firm in order to oust Daniel.
It doesn’t take long for Hardman’s return to stir up the anger of everyone who felt wronged by their old boss and distract time and resources from the Folsom Foods case. Meanwhile, Daniel uses the protective cover of his non-disclosure agreement to twist the facts of Monica Eton’s case and paint Jessica as a woman-hater. Realizing Hardman’s scheme will weaken their position in the gender discrimination case they’re already involved in, Harvey pushes to settle. But with Jessica seeing red, and Hardman’s divide and conquer tactics taking their toll on Harvey, the Machiavellian former partner may finally succeed in bringing his old firm to it’s knees.
